James has a political science degree from the London School of Economics, and an MPhil. in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. James is co-founder of Olab, with a focus on organizational strategy and mediation.

Environmental manager with experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), process facilitation, and agri-food value chains. She led MEL for international climate and forestry programs (UK PACT, Partnerships for Forests), monitoring portfolios in Latin America (Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, and Bolivia) and coordinating socio-environmental criteria in the livestock supply chain. She holds a degree in Environmental Management and a specialization in Project Management from ESALQ/USP. At Olab, she serves as an Associate Consultant in research, strategy, and sustainability in food systems.

Isabela is an Economist holding a degree from UNICAMP, specializing in the design, implementation, and evaluation of public policies. Combining a strong background in social sciences with robust quantitative skills, she has solid experience in economic consulting, focusing on regulation, antitrust, and data analysis. Her expertise includes econometric modeling, input-output matrix analysis, and managing major public databases.

Economist with a degree from Unicamp and a master’s candidate in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Development at ESCAS/IPÊ. At Olab, he leads projects focused on compliance and strategy related to the EUDR, in addition to conducting research and evaluations of public policies. A specialist in the valuation of socio-biodiversity value chains and combating deforestation, he has experience in climate finance and economic consulting.

Portfolio Manager at Olab with an MBA in Project Management and a track record in conservation projects across Latin America. Focuses on climate, forest, and agriculture agendas, specializing in deforestation-free supply chains. Has a history of connecting South Global realities with international markets, facilitating multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral initiatives, and providing strategic support for conferences such as COP30 and COP16.  

Evaluator and member of the Management Committee of the Brazilian Network for Monitoring and Evaluation (RBMA). Holds a degree in Public Administration and a Master’s in Public Policy Evaluation, with over 15 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning. Specialist in participatory methodologies, she conducts evaluations for multilateral organizations, Private Social Investment initiatives, and Civil Society Organizations, with a focus on enhancing program quality, strengthening institutional capacity, and generating relevant learning.

10+ years of experience in project planning and execution, people management and process facilitation. Expertise with start ups, non-profits and other industries. Civil Engineer with an MBA in Business Management from USP. Jess is also a graphic facilitator and consultant for business models and strategy design.

Sustainability practitioner with over 20 years of experience designing and facilitating dialogic and generative processes that promote learning, collaboration, and transformation in complex organizational and territorial contexts. Holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and advanced studies in Goethean Science, bringing together conceptual rigor and practical experience across Brazil’s diverse biomes and sociocultural realities. Creator of the Solo Journey | Wilderness Solo methodology.

With 12 years of experience in designing and facilitating complex processes in the fields of land use and biodiversity, he combines expertise in strategy, project management, operational efficiency, and inclusive and participatory processes. A graduate in Economics, he supports Olab as a consultant, integrating management practices with attentive and caring dialogue to generate more effective results. He is a Social Facilitator at Germinar, researches Nonviolent Communication, and is an Ontological Coach certified by the Newfield Network Chile.

An environmental engineering undergraduate at UFRJ, Samuel has been working for over 7 years in the production and technical facilitation of in-person, hybrid, and online events. At Olab, he wears many hats, excelling as a tech host, process facilitator, and rapporteur. His specialty is ensuring the operational functionality, success, and stability of large multistakeholder forums and complex collaborative processes.

Coordinator and lecturer in the MBA in Diversity & Inclusion at BBI of Chicago. Member of the international Art of Hosting Network, creator of the course "Authentic Racial Dialogues", and as a speaker, consultant, and mentor, she works in leadership development, team building, and organizational climate transformation.
